Chaos keeps shaking up the College Football Playoff rankings as Selection Day draws near. The top four teams have held firm for the past three weeks, but just about everything else is in flux after three more top-10 teams lost last week.
No. 1 Oregon, No. 3 Texas, No. 6 Miami and No. 11 Boise State are the committee's projected highest-ranked conference champions. As of now, the fifth highest-ranked conference champion is Arizona State out of the Big 12, but AAC leader No. 17 Tulane is on the rise.
No. 2 Ohio State, No. 4 Penn State, No. 5 Notre Dame, No. 7 Georgia, No. 8 Tennessee, No. 9 SMU, No. 10 Indiana are projected to earn at-large bids. No. 12 Clemson and No. 13 Alabama, regulars in the four-team playoff format, are the first teams out.
