SHREVEPORT, La. - More progress is being made on relocating employees inside Shreveport police headquarters.

Today, the Shreveport City Council approves the leasing of four properties that will temporarily house the SPD.

The move comes after there were some concerns about mildew at the SPD headquarters downtown.

The City of Shreveport will lease four properties and it will cost more than $57,000 a month.

Those properties include:

2031 Kings Highway$20,186.49 per month for 36 months.Owned by BioMedical Research Foundation.Sunset Acres Elementary$3,000 per month for 15 months.Owned by the Caddo Parish School Board.1120 South Pointe Parkway$24,838.75 per month for 36 months.Owned by South Pointe Property Inc.3312 North Market$9,199.50 per month for 12 months.Owned by Willis Knighton Health.
