COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A Richland County mother was granted bond after deputies say she took her children from a Department of Social Services office.

27-year-old Destinee Dinkins was charged with two counts of transporting a child by force and one count of assault and battery in the 3rd degree.

Investigators say Dinkins took her two biological children ages 8 and 6 from a DSS office on Thanksgiving evening around 6.

The children were later found without any injuries Friday morning around 7, authorities said.

Dinkins went before a judge later that morning and was granted a 20 thousand dollar bond.

Jail records indicate Dinkins is still booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
