WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Fire crews were working Saturday night to put out flames at Maurice's Piggy Park BBQ in West Columbia.
The well-known BBQ restaurant, located on Charleston Highway, was up in flames at around 10 p.m. Saturday evening.
Officials said the fire was updated to a third-alarm fire and additional units were called in. At around 10:45 p.m., the fire was not yet under control.
According to officials, fire units from West Columbia, Cayce, Lexington, Columbia-Richland and Irmo were working to put out the fire.
A spokesperson for the West Columbia Fire Department said they do not believe anyone was injured in the fire.
