The suspect believed to be involved in an assault that sent a man to a local burn center is being sought by the Moore County Sheriff's Office.

In a release from the Sheriff's Office, Travis Cleve Pierce, 47, of Asheboro is believed to be an associate of the victim and is currently wanted for various assault charges related to the incident.
