Eastern Oregon Forum panel discussion focuses on homelessness

PENDLETON -- A discussion about homelessness is the focus of the upcoming Eastern Oregon Forum on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 5:30 p.m. in the library at Blue Mountain Community College, 2411 NW Carden Ave., Pendleton. Admission is free.

The panelist are Marcus L. Luke II, housing director for the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, Pendleton Police Chief Charles Byram, Pendleton City Councilor Carole Innes and and Paula Hall, CEO of Community Action Program of East Central Oregon.

Topics for the rest of the 2024-25 series include unmanned aerial systems on March 11, 2025; and "Is North Korea Still a Threat to the US?" on April 8, 2025.

The EO Forum is a collaborative effort between BMCC, the InterMountain Education Service District, the East Oregonian and the American Association of University Women. In addition, Harriet Isom, a former United States ambassador, serves on the committee.
