Los Angeles Clippers forward Derrick Jones Jr. has had the pleasure of playing with two of the NBA's greatest court maestros: James Harden and Luka Doncic.

The former Slam Dunk Contest champion was recently asked about the similarities in their games, and DJJ answered that their incredible court vision stands out the most.

Derrick played with Luka on the Dallas Mavericks last season and received many of his pinpoint passes. Luka's court vision is one of the most talked-about aspects of his game, and Derrick has nothing but praise for it. On the Clippers, the high-leaping forward now experiences the same court awareness from another elite playmaker, James Harden.

"I mean, their vision-both of them-their vision is crazy. They see the whole floor at all times," Jones said of Doncic's and Harden's passing abilities.

Luka Magic and Beard precision

Since entering the NBA, Luka has been an incredible dime-dropper. His precise passing skill is a significant part of his arsenal, which opens up his scoring as opponents can't just focus on his shooting.

With the athletic bigs and knock-down shooters on the Mavericks, Luka's court awareness allows him to make the right pass in every situation.

The same can be said for "The Beard." While many spotlight his remarkable scoring ability, Harden has been setting the table up for his teammates for most of his illustrious career.

The crafty lefty has led the league in assists twice and currently leads it early this season, averaging 11.7 assists per game.

More than anything, DJJ highlighted the two players' ability to get to wherever they want to on the floor and make the proper read.

"They can get to their spots whenever they want, get to the line as many times as they want, knock down whatever shot they want. So, yeah, there are similarities," Jones added.
