Rivalry week comes early this year for Utah. The Utes face BYU in Week 11 for football's first matchup in three years.

Despite sitting just 50 miles apart, it's been a few years since the in-state opponents have faced off on the grid iron. They last met in 2021 with the Cougars taking a 26-17 victory that snapped a four-game win streak by Utah. BYU is on track to start a streak of their own.

Big 12 football has turned out vastly different than expected. The Cougars are 8-0, ready for a conference title game and maybe even a spot in the CFP. The Utes, on the other hand, have won just one conference game despite entering the season as conference favorites.
