ATLANTA -- A large blaze fully engulfed an Atlanta home on New Year's Eve. Video from the scene shows the heavy smoke and flames as firefighters responded on Tuesday.

Atlanta Fire Rescue said the flames sparked at the home at the 800 block of Neal St. NW in the Bankhead community. Fire investigators are still working to determine the cause of the fire.

It's unclear at this time how many people lived in the home. Thankfully, officials said there were no injuries, and the Red Cross is helping the impacted residents.

11Alive's Dorjan Williams captured these photos of the aftermath of the blaze. Photos show the home completely scorched, and the trash can across the street appears to be melted.
