"The relationships I get to develop with my patients and the opportunity to treat their issues and see tangible results is what I enjoy most."

Dr. Collins earned his medical degree at Lincoln Memorial University's DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate and his undergraduate degree at East Tennessee State University. With a nurse for a mother, the road into health care was paved early for Dr. Collins.

"Some of my earliest memories were looking through the pictures of her nursing school books on various diseases," he said. "As I grew older, and my studies advanced, my interest in health care and science was directed toward medicine."

Dr. Collins is accepting new patients at Ballad Health Medical Associates Family Medicine, 308 8th St., Suite A, Bristol, Tennessee.
