Northville senior midfielder Lily Klippel was named the New York State Class D Player of the Year for girls' soccer on Monday.
Teammate Elleah Whittaker, a sophomore forward, joined Klippel on the first team. Senior defender Hailey Monroe made the third team.
Fort Ann's Olivia Winchell, a sophomore forward, and Baylee Wright, a junior goalkeeper, made the second and third teams, respectively.
In Class AAA, Shaker senior midfielder Alina Lagace made the first team. Other honorees were Saratoga Springs junior midfielder Lucia Devito (second team), Guilderland senior forward Marie Bogue (third team), Saratoga Springs junior midfielder Ava Goodman (fifth team), Shaker sophomore forward Alexis Macpherson (fifth team) and Shenendehowa senior defender Julia Dirrado (fifth team).
In Class AA, Columbia senior midfielder Kennedy Ring was named the Player of the Year. Other honorees were teammate and senior goalie Anna Nassivera (third team), Averill Park junior goalie Gianna Pietrafesa (third team), Niskayuna junior forward Megan Goyette (third team), Columbia senior midfielder Izzy Seibert (fourth team) and Queensbury senior defender Kayla Zehr.
In Class A, Schalmont senior forward Gianna Cirilla made the first team. Also making the list were Broadalbin-Perth junior forward Chase Tyler (third team), Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk senior forward Katie McFerran (fourth team) and Schalmont senior defender Addison Shultis (fourth team).
In Class B, Mechancivlle senior forward Maddy Hopeck and Greenville senior midfielder Ella Grupe both made the first team. Also honored were Mechanicville sophomore forward Gianna Pitts (second team), Chatham senior forward Addie Perry (second team), Cobleskill-Richmondville junior forward Olivia Trendell (third team) and Voorheesville senior forward Sophia Bouplon (fourth team).
In Class C, two Stillwater seniors made the first team: defender Isabella Mack and forward Elliott Patenaude. Also making the team were Lake George senior forward Katie Sejulic (second team), OESJ senior midfielder Taylor Hayes (second team), Schoharie senior midfielder Lily Ballard (third team) and Greenwich senior forward Taylor Poovey (fourth team).
