Pensacola officials ask residents to complete annual satisfaction survey

City officials said questions will ask about new parking structure, economic development, recycling services and downtown Pensacola among other topics.

Residents can take the survey online or by calling 850-495-2666 Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., but officials asked to hold calls until Jan. 6, 2025.

The deadline for the survey is Jan. 17, 2025, according to the city.

Officials said residents will receive a postcard prompting them to take the survey.

According to a news release from the city, the survey will also ask about city services, facilities such as streetlights, sidewalks, neighborhood safety and others. It will also ask residents about their top priorities in the city.

"We have established that we want to make our decisions at City Hall in conjunction with what our residents feel are concerns and priorities," Mayor D.C. Reeves said. "We've seen success with this process with forming our Strategic Plan and updating our Community Redevelopment Agency plans. The community voice is paramount as we continue to improve our city."

According to the city release, the University of West Florida Haas Center is conducting the annual survey for the city. Data will be kept confidential and will only be reported with all the results.

Only Pensacola residents can complete the survey, according to the city release.
