Meet Executive Chef Deborah Pellegrino, at the Borgata, is the first female executive director chef in an Atlantic City casino.
Covering restaurants and food trends has always been a part of our tradition at The Press of Atlantic City, and that coverage continues with our latest story, video and photographs of Atlantic City casino executive director chef Deborah Pellegrino.
We know this region has some of the best dining and entertainment options well beyond the shoreline, and we've always loved telling you about the latest trend or spot.
That is not changing. But something has changed this month.
We're moving our coverage of food and drink from the pages of Flavor, a once-a-month publication, into the pages of The Press of Atlantic City.
For the first time in nine years, you won't find a copy of Flavor magazine inside your first-Saturday-of-the-month print edition.
This decision to end Flavor comes after some hard reckoning about how we can best deploy our journalists and photographers to cover food trends and how to best share it with our audience, which is increasingly on digital platforms.

Flavor was a quality, award-winning product, but it only came out once a month, and then only in print.
With a new emphasis on more frequently reported stories, we expect to bring you as much or more food coverage, in both print and online.
One thing that hasn't changed is our commitment to local journalism and our belief in what we do as a service to our communities here.
I welcome your input and thoughts on the changes as you get accustomed to the new rhythm of our food and dining coverage.
