Matthew Liberatore gets up-close look at Nolan Gorman's winter: Live from Cardinals Winter Warm-Up

12:35 p.m.: Regular time around Nolan Gorman this offseason has given Matthew Liberatore a first-hand look at how his teammate and childhood friend is approaching the 2025 season.

"I think he's as hungry as I've ever seen him in the long time that I've known him," Liberatore said.

For years, the two had talked about training together like they did growing up with each other as they grew up. It wasn't until this winter that they found a facility that created the "right situation" at Helix Human Performance in Scottsdale, Arizona.

"Just the right group of people, the right ideology behind what we're doing, why we're doing it, and then the facility to do it at," Liberatore said. "I felt like they were able to meet all of our needs, all of our wants, and it's still personalized. Obviously, I'm a pitcher, he's a hitter, so we're going to train slightly differently. They really just cover all the bases for us."

"I'm really, really excited for him to get down to spring training and see what he can do this year," Liberatore said.
