AMORY -- After leaving everything out there for 48 minutes, the Shannon Red Raiders made history.

Shannon, the Daily Journal area's No. 7 large school, got things going in the second quarter and never looked back in a 51-26 win over the No. 8 Amory Panthers. With the win, the Red Raiders clinched their first region title since 2018.
