QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) - A man was accused of stealing a ticket machine from a traffic agent in Queens on Wednesday, according to the NYPD.
The agent was working on 63rd Drive around 4:20 p.m. when a man approached him, police said. The man began arguing with the agent about a summons issued to his vehicle, according to authorities.
The suspect was then accused of smacking the agent in the hand and stealing his ticket machine, police said.
He then fled the scene in a white SUV with unknown plates going east on Queens Boulevard, according to authorities.
