BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WXOW) - A woman from Merrillan is arrested on her 7th OWI charge early Tuesday morning in Black River Falls.
Information from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office said that they got a report at 12:46 a.m. of a possible intoxicated driver leaving a gas station in Black River Falls. As the driver was leaving, she almost hit a pole according to the witness.
A deputy found the vehicle, and after seeing what he considered poor driving, pulled the driver over.
She was identified as 43-year-old Nichole Waughtal.
The deputy saw signs of impairment according to the news release. Waughtal also failed field sobriety tests.
She was then arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail.
Formal charges are pending.
