Lance Shea joined Foley Hoag as a partner in its Food and Drug Administration practice in Washington, the firm announced Wednesday.

Shea advises clients operating at the crossroads of science and law, with a focus on the drug and medical device industries, the firm said. His practice focuses on obtaining and protecting marketing exclusivity and market share for medical products, helping clients address marketing approval issues, and advising companies on advertising claims.
