A bar and restaurant that made waves earlier this year when it announced it was moving from downtown New Albany, Indiana, to the Highlands has an opening date for the new location.Pints & Union announced on its Facebook page that its first day open to the public will be on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, starting at 5 p.m., and it will open on New Year's Day at 2 p.m.Pints & Union is taking over the spot at 1576 Bardstown Road most recently occupied by Against the Grain Public House, which closed in late August after a five-year run.
