John Cena's turn to the dark side has everyone talking -- and it's not just wrestling fans. His shocking betrayal at Elimination Chamber has left a lasting impact on the WWE Universe and beyond, so much so that even an infamous Cybertronian has weighed in.

Michael Sorg of the Wrestling Mayhem Show recently visited Universal Studios in Hollywood. There, he met one of the greatest villains of all time, Megatron. When asked for his thoughts, the Transformers icon and leader of the Decepticons unsurprisingly endorsed Cena's change of heart.

"It's like it was always meant to be," said Megatron. "I can see you now, John. I can see you now. And I see what you've been up to, and I like what I see."

Longtime Transformers fans might recall that Cena once had a tiff with Bumblebee, an Autobot and sworn enemy of Megatron. Ironically, the beloved Autobots' leader, Optimus Prime, once underwent his own sinister attitude adjustment.

In the 2017 film Transformers: The Last Knight, Optimus Prime is brainwashed and turns against his crew. Though he becomes the evil Nemesis Prime, he ultimately snaps out of his trance, thanks to Bumblebee, and returns to his true self before defeating Megatron.

Wrestling fans should keep the movie's plot in mind as Cena prepares to face Cody Rhodes, the man he betrayed, at WrestleMania. If life imitates art, expect Cena to eventually confront WWE's version of Megatron, The Rock, the man Cena sold his soul to. As it stands, Megatron sees himself as The Rock, telling Sorg, "Remember: the final boss is me."
