The Texas Rangers, along with the Stephens County Sheriff's Office, Eastland County Sheriff's Office, Breckenridge Police Department, and Texas DPS, were all dispatched to the scene.

According to the Breckenridge PD, the shooting occurred at 700 Block of South Stoker, resulting in one person dead at the scene and an arrest made by the Eastland County Sheriff's Office.

The investigation is still ongoing and no further informnation has been released.
