OXFORD, MI - Authorities said three people were wounded in a Christmas Eve shooting near Oxford High School.
Oakland County Sheriff's officials said emergency responders were called around 6:30 p.m. to a "major incident" on Ray Road, between Lapeer and North Oxford roads just north of the Oxford village limits. That is near where the fatal school shooting happened just over three years ago.
Deputies reportedly have a suspect in custody and recovered a gun; it is believed there is no further danger to the public, officials said.
The three people wounded from gun shots were all rushed to area hospitals.
Investigators are processing the crime scene and request people stay away from the area.
