The Minnesota Golden Gophers will be without a starter and get a starter back against the No. 4 Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday afternoon.
Safety Aidan Gousby has been ruled out for the afternoon contest while left guard Tyler Cooper returns from an injury.
Gousby suffered a hamstring injury against Rutgers two weeks ago and left the game early.

Cooper hasn't seen the field since the Maryland game on Oct. 26. He's expected to start at left guard, replacing Ashton Beers.
Gousby has started nine of 10 games this season, playing a total of 421 snaps. Minnesota will likely turn to Kerry Brown and Koi Perich to replace him on Saturday.
The Gophers have also ruled out safety Darius Green and Pierce Walsh.
As for Penn State, they could be without multiple contributing players on both sides of the ball.
Wide receiver Julian Fleming is listed as questionable and cornerback Elliot Washington has been ruled out according to the team's injury report.
