KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- When life gives you snow... use it to make ice cream!
It's not the best idea to eat snow you find on the ground because it can have bacteria and pollutants in it, but if you are able to collect some "fresh" snow in a sterile container as it falls -- it's generally safe to eat, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Some folks were already out collecting their ingredients on Friday:
Add Sugar, Milk & Vanilla to snow and mix together. Keep mixing until fully incorporated. Snow will melt and become creamier.
