OCPD: Girl struck by vehicle in southeast Oklahoma City

A young girl was struck by a pickup in southeast Oklahoma City Saturday afternoon, police reported.Get the latest news stories of interest by clicking here.Just before 3:10 p.m. Saturday, police said the girl and her teenage brother decided to cross the street, near Southeast 59th Street and South Shields Boulevard. A person driving what police described as a large pickup turned onto the street but did not see the two children and the vehicle struck the girl.The girl suffered minor injuries, including broken teeth and a scratch on her leg, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
