A Pennsylvania man has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of burglaries at businesses in three Livingston County communities that resulted in the thefts of more than $20,000 worth of lawn equipment from one store, the Livingston County Sheriff's Office reports.
Ben McCormack, 39, of North East, Pa., was arrested Nov. 15 by members of the Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division after he was located in the town of Ripley, Chautauqua County. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by members of the Ontario County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division, who were also investigating a "smash-and-grab" burglary involving McCormack, and the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office.
