After the Lodi High boys water polo team swept league play in the Tri-City Athletic League for the team's first outright title in years, the Flames took both of the top postseason awards for the league.

Tylan Takahashi was named the league's MVP as Lodi's top scoring threat, and Tyler Carson was named the league's Goalie of the Year for his lock-down defense on the other side of the pool. Takahashi was also named to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I first team, and Carson to the D-1 second team.

Takahashi led the Flames with 132 goals this fall, and Carson piled up 232 blocks.

The duo helped the Flames finish 12-0 in TCAL play, with a 21-8 overall record and a trip to the Sac-Joaquin Section Division I quarterfinals.

Lodi had two first-team selections in Jake Arreola and John Hammer, joining St. Mary's Thomas Gerber, Ben Borland and Lu Gutierrez, and Lincoln's Ryan Delay and James Robinson.

On the second team was Lodi's Temple Marcee, joining Lincoln's Joe Gabbard and Myles Henderson, Bear Creek's Caleb Park and Noah Supinger, Kimball's Kyson Reese, St. Mary's Brandon Lucero and Tracy's Julian Penrod.

Honorable mention for Lodi went to Lodi's Porter Campbell, Braxton Boone and Tyler Peterson.
