Did Mariah Carey get a new boo for Christmas? The pop star sparked romance rumors with Anderson .Paak after the two were spotted holding hands in Aspen.
Mariah, 55, was spotted heading into the restaurant Catch Steak with the "Make It Better" singer, 38, on Sunday, December 22, as seen in photos published by TMZ on Monday, December 23. The "All I Want for Christmas Is You" hitmaker had a smile on her face as Anderson opened the restaurant's door for her and kept an arm on her waist while holding her hand.
Though the musicians appeared to be coupled up on the way into dinner, eyewitnesses told the outlet that Mariah and Anderson later left the restaurant separately. Sources also told the publication that the two are not dating, but they have been collaborating on new music together in Aspen and simply took a break from the studio to grab a bite to eat.
With that said, both Anderson and Mariah are currently single. The Silk Sonic member filed for divorce from wife Jaylyn Chang back in January, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, according to court documents obtained by People at the time. He asked for joint legal and physical custody of their sons, Soul Rasheed and Shine Tariq. Anderson also requested that the court terminate its ability to give his ex spousal support.
Meanwhile, Mariah split from longtime partner Bryan Tanaka in December 2023 after seven years together.

"Mariah doesn't have anything bad to say about Bryan," the insider said. "They had a good run, over seven years, they had a lot of fun together and Bryan was always respectful."
The source added that the split was related to Bryan, 41, wanting "to have kids of his own." Mariah shares twins Moroccan "Roc" and Monroe "Roe" with ex-husband Nick Cannon.
"They parted cordially and plan to remain friends, but Mariah wants him to find someone special and go after his dreams," the insider added. "She says Bryan will make a great dad."
Another source exclusively told Life & Style in April that Mariah turned to Nick, 44, following her split from Bryan. The pair tied the knot in 2008 and separated after six years, with the Masked Singer host filing for divorce in 2014. The split was finalized in 2016.
"Nick and Mariah have a special bond," the source shared. "It's not romantic, but Mariah likes having his shoulder to lean on, especially now that she's single."
