If you need an excuse to get out of the house, we are here to help! Anyone looking to
practice their English or Spanish can join us for Learn Juntos, our informal language learning
conversation group tomorrow. Every third Thursday of the month we meet at 5:30 p.m. for a guided conversation on a variety of topics. Attendees get to practice the language they are learning and be experts in their native language. It is a fun and safe space to learn together!
If you just want to talk about books, you can join us for Shelf Indulgence, our adult book club, next Thursday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m. We will be discussing David Baldacci's thriller The 6:20 Man and enjoying light refreshments. There are still copies available for checkout. This group meets on the fourth Thursday of the month and reads a variety of genres throughout the year.
Don't want to sit around chatting? Move with us on Saturday morning in our Yoga for Heart-Centered Warmth class at 10:30 a.m. Participants will flow through yoga poses for approximately forty minutes and end class with a short, guided meditation. All levels are welcome. You can bring your own yoga mat and blocks or borrow ours. There is no registration required and no cost to attend.
Next Monday our TAG (Teen Advisory Group) Team will be playing LIVE Battleship! Teenagers in grades six through twelve are invited to join us for snacks, drinks, and a fun twist on an old favorite game. TAG Team meets every second and fourth Monday of the month at 6:15 p.m.
There is fun to be had for all ages in The Lab on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between 3 and 5 p.m. This month the theme is "Share the Love." Use our new laser engraver to create crafts or cards for yourself or your loved ones.
