While the Philadelphia Eagles defense was dominating and Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers in Philly's 22-10 victory on Wild Card weekend, star wide receive AJ Brown was sat calmly on the sideline, book in hand. We'd later learn that the book, 'INNER EXCELLENCE: Train Your Mind for Extraordinary Performance and the Best Possible life," is a personal favorite of Brown's.

The three-time All-Pro keeps it with him on the sideline during games. He said that it helps him refocus and keep himself motivated.

"I use it to refocus and lock in despite what may transpire in the game good or bad," Brown said on social media. "People tend to create controversy when they don't know the truth."

After the incident, Philadelphia fans sent the book skyrocketing to No. 1 on Amazon's list of best sellers. Now it appears the Eagles are leaning all the way in. Philly welcomed author Jim Murphy to their practice complex to speak with Brown and the rest of the team ahead of its NFC Divisional Round game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

Murphy told Sportico's Jacob Feldman that he's enjoyed the newfound fame. But he doesn't want to distract from the team's success.

"I just don't want to be a distraction for this whole thing," Murphy said during a video interview. "But I do want to encourage A.J. and all the Eagles to do what it says in the book, and learn about how to learn and grow and get better every day." Inner Excellence promises to use wisdom from the world of sports psychology to help readers "train your mind for extraordinary performance and the best possible life."

Now Murphy is looking to partner with Brown for several potential new ventures, including a new version of the book, reading promotions in Philly, and a dedicated athlete retreat center.

"I really want people to know that the book sales is neat and I'm super, super grateful," Murphy said. "But this is not about Jim Murphy. This is not about my book. What I really want people to know is that there is a better way to live."
