BED-STUY -- RESIDENTS AT NYCHA'S STUYVESANT GARDENS senior residence were shivering on Christmas Eve, with many running their ovens and space heaters in an attempt to keep warm, PIX11 reports. The culprit was unsealed windows and minimal insulation, according to the news outlet. Many tenants attempted to seal their drafty windows with blankets or tape. PIX11 says their phone call to NYCHA brought in some workers to help better seal windows.
