DALLAS -- Time is running out for Texas legislators who want to bring death row inmate Robert Roberson III in person before a House committee investigating his conviction.

The next steps in the Roberson's case -- and whether he will ultimately testify before the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence -- are uncertain, as two separate issues rest in district courts across Texas.
