Leticia Perez, 5th District Kern County supervisor, is running for reelection to a fourth term.

Incumbent Kern County District 5 Supervisor Leticia Perez is back in the lead in her bid for re-election against challenger Kim Salas, who had overtaken Perez by a slim margin last week.

According to the latest results Friday from the Kern County Elections Division, Perez had 14,532 votes to Salas' 14,465, a difference of 67 votes.
