Earlier this year, the Lufkin ISD board of trustees formed a subcommittee tasked with building a Future Facilities Advisory Committee comprised of staff, parents and community members.

The committee has been diligently evaluating the infrastructure needs of all schools, campus programs and other relevant data for the past three months in work that will continue into January.

Lufkin ISD has launched a website dedicated to providing information related to the committee's work. The public is invited to visit the site and submit questions as needed in the area provided at tinyurl.com/2u5xy4s6.
