The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday's lottery drawing has climbed to an estimated $1 billion, with a cash option of $448.8 million.
The winning numbers will be posted here when they are drawn at 11 p.m.
If someone hits the jackpot would be one of the 7th largest in U.S. lottery history.
The Mega Millions jackpot hasn't been hit since a ticket worth $800 million was bought in Sugar Land, Texas, for the Sept. 10 drawing. The jackpot has been won only three times this year.
The first was on March 26, when someone who bought a ticket at ShopRite Liquors on Route 66 in Neptune Township hit the $1.13 billion jackpot. The mystery winner has yet to claim the massive prize with the one-year deadline to validate the lucky ticket a little more than three months away.
Though no one across the country hit Tuesday's $760 million jackpot, three Mega Millions tickets worth $10,000 each were sold in New Jersey.
Friday's winning numbers: 2, 20, 51, 56 and 67. The Mega Ball drawn was 19 with a Megaplier of 2x.
Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance of a ticket matching five numbers but not the Mega Ball and winning at least $1 million. The odds of matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball for a prize of at least $10,000 are 931,001 to 1.
Mega Millions drawings are held each Tuesday and Friday in 45 states, along with Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The winner of the $1.13 billion Mega Millions jackpot sold in New Jersey nine months ago has finally stepped forward on Monday to claim the record prize nine months after the drawing, lottery officials said.
