Lynda Clayton, 63, or St. Paul, Minn passed away peacefully on on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Bethel Care Center in St. Paul.

Lynda was born Dec. 27, 1943 in Minneapolis, Minn to parents John C. and Goldie C (Baker) Smith. She married Dennis Clayton on March 29, 1980 in Minneapolis.

Loved and forever missed by her loving family... Children: Greg (Denise) Clayton of Bloomington, Charity (Brandon) Forar of Prior Lake, Stephanie (Joe) Gehlhar of Champlin, Christine (Charlie) Gourdin of Arizona; grandchildren: Ashley Mallak, Brittnee Clayton, Tyler and Haley Clayton, Cayla and Travis Roach, Nicholas Forar, Chelsea and Courtney Gourdin, Joshua and Sophia Gehlar; great-grandson Martel Hayes, Jr.; sisters: Kathleen Engel of Blaine, Betty Ferguson of Minneapolis; Dorothy (Bob) Havrilak of Arizona, Nancy (Larry) Erickson of Missouri; brothers: Michael Smith of Blaine, Robert (Betty) Smith of Bloomington; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband, Dennis; parents; siblings, Harold Smith, Donald Smith, Pat Smith, Charile (Eileen) Smith, Kenny (Carolyn) Smith, Peggy (Einer) Peterson.

There was a time of gathering for family and friends Friday, July 27, 2007, 3 - 5 p.m., Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake. Funeral Service followed at 5 p.m.
