Drivers headed to the Jersey Shore for Memorial Day weekend will get a one-hour free toll reprieve Friday at a plaza on the Atlantic City Expressway.
The free tolls are part of the "100 Days of Summer Party" to start the holiday weekend.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday at the Farley Service Plaza, located at mile marker 21.3 on the expressway, according to a news statement from the South Jersey Transportation Authority.
The day will be highlighted by free tolls from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza for anyone heading east.
The hour of free tolls is courtesy of Chickie's & Pete's, the Philadelphia-area sports bar and restaurant chain, which will also give out free crabfries throughout the day.
WlP Sports Radio and WPHT 1210 Talk Radio will provide live, remote broadcasts, and Applegreen, operator of the Farley Service Plaza, will be handing out free samples of Joe Tea, My Big Fat Cookies, and Jersey Girl Chocolates.
Ron's Gardens of Hammonton also returns with Jersey Fresh produce.

Among the 70 businesses, vendors, and artists expected to be participating are: Atlantic Cape Community College, Carmine's Italian Restaurant, Comcast, Bass Pro Shop, Johnson's Popcorn, The Irish Pub, AtlantiCare, Resorts Casino Atlantic City, Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, Save Lucy Committee, as well as dozens of local merchants offering gift items, jewelry and clothing.
Food trucks will include DonutNV, Big Papa BBQ, The NoMad, and Tacos Al Carbon.
Anyone with a classic car is invited to stop by in the designated Cruise Lot area.
