Two men were killed, and a third injured, in two separate Montgomery shootings on Friday.
Police on Saturday identified the slain men as Maurice Walker, 44, of North Carolina, and Marcelino Hernandez, 33, of Montgomery.
Officers and fire medics responded at 4:18 p.m. to the 900 block of West South Boulevard on a report of a person shot.
Walker was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police at the same time were dispatched to the 100 block of Beckview Drive where they found a second man wounded, said Maj. Saba Coleman. His injuries were not life-threatening.
Coleman said investigators determined the second victim was also shot at the West South Boulevard location.
At 11:30 p.m., first responders were dispatched to the 4800 block of Park Towne Way. There, they found Hernandez dead from a gunshot wound as well.
Authorities have not released details surrounding either shooting. No arrests have been announced.
