A large police response is under way in Fountain Hill on Tuesday evening.

Area police departments and the Lehigh County Municipal Emergency Response Team were responding in the area of Fountain Hill Pharmacy at Broadway and Hoffert streets in the borough, according to emergency radio dispatches.

Lehigh County 911 would only confirm to The Morning Call that police were responding to 1049 Broadway, which is the address of the pharmacy. Police were first called to that location just after 8:30 p.m.

Roads in the area, including Broadway, are shut down, according to reports from emergency radio and social media.
