Pedestrian struck by hit-and-run driver in Framingham, police say

A pedestrian was seriously injured after they were struck by a hit-and-run driver in Framingham on Thursday afternoon, police said.

The victim, whose identity was not released, was struck near 343 Cochituate Road at about 4:30 p.m., Framingham police said in a statement posted on social media Saturday. The vehicle involved is believed to have been a silver or gray 2011 to 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee with damage to the left side of the front end, including the rear-view mirror, according to the statement.

It was last seen headed east on Cochituate Road, police said. Anyone with information about the crash, including photos or videos, can contact Framingham police at 508-872-1212.
