WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Seventeen-year-old Daja Edwards was last seen at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 19, in the 1400 block of Independence Avenue in Southeast D.C., and her family is now seeking help to locate her.

Described as a Black female with a brown complexion, Daja is 5'8" tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has brown and red hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a blue jacket, and black Crocs.

The missing person report was filed on November 20, and the search to locate her remains ongoing.

Authorities are urging the community to assist in the search to reunite Daja with her family.
