Keene High's Parrelli notches historic 100th career point

Sephra Parrelli made Keene hockey history on Thursday night.

The Keene High senior captain forward became the first girl in program history to reach 100 career points, scoring a pair of goals to help the Blackbirds to a 4-2 win over Bedford at Sullivan Arena in Goffstown.

The Keene High girls program began varsity play in 2016.

Entering Thursday with 99 career points, Parrelli's historic milestone took just one shift.

Parrelli, with possession at the offensive blue line, weaved inside to her right through two defenders and rifled a low wrist shot from the high slot that beat the Bedford goaltender blocker side for a quick 1-0 lead.

She would later get career point 101 as the Blackbirds (5-2) picked up their second consecutive win.

Sarah Weber and Lauren McLean also found the back of the net for the Blackbirds, while Ella Rice and Madeline St. Pierre picked up assists.

Sirena Cassin made 27 saves in net.

Keene continues a four-game road stint on Saturday against Manchester, and has two more road games against St. Thomas-Winnacunnet-Dover and Oyster River-Portsmouth before returning home on Saturday, Feb. 1 against Bishop Guertin.

Parrelli is the first Keene High hockey player from either program to reach the century mark since 2020, when Joe Walsh and Jerred Tattersall each joined the 100-point club that year for the boys. She is the 10th Keene High player to reach 100 points, joining Joe LeClair, Mark Ranagan, Steve Walsh, Hunter Gallant, Nate Darwin, Tim Greenwood, Brian Langevin, Joe Walsh and Tattersall.
