Southern Pines' growth shows no signs of slowing down in the new year, with the town council expected to review several significant projects in the coming months.

The town has experienced growth across all sectors -- residential, commercial and office -- in the last few years. In the past 12 months, several long-discussed projects have made headway. The most notable -- and noticeable -- has occurred along Morganton Road with the Target-anchored shopping complex.
