An H-E-B store near Jersey Village in Houston just pulled off a rarity.
A few days ago, this H-E-B located at 10251 Brentwood Drive sold a Texas Lottery scratch-off ticket that paid out $3 million.
Then, in Saturday's Cash Five drawing, only one ticket in Texas matched all five winning numbers, and that ticket was sold at the same store. That winning ticket is worth $25,000.
This game was introduced on November 18. It's a $50 card that features four top prizes of $3 million.
The first $3 million winning ticket was sold on December 17 at a convenience store in San Antonio. The next jackpot-winning ticket was claimed on February 3 at H-E-B. The two other top prizes have not been won.
Drawings for the Texas Lottery's Cash Five game are held every night except on Sundays. Anyone matching all five numbers wins $25,000.
The winning numbers for Saturday, February 8 were 1-6-10-14-22. One ticket matched all five and it was purchased at the same H-E-B on Brentwood Drive.
This past week, Texas Lottery scratch-off games produced several other jackpot winners including a $1 million winner on the $1,000,000 Blitz game.
Somebody in the Austin area purchased a winning ticket at this 7-Eleven located on FM 969.
