TOWN OF BELOIT - Workers are down to the finishing touches for the new Town of Beloit fire station and town hall, but those finishing touches will take long enough that it's unlikely that the town will start operating out of the new building before March.

Tim Kienbaum, town community development director and building inspector, gave the Beloit Daily News a tour of the $9.8 million project. It is the biggest building project in the township since the Turner School District built Garden Prairie Intermediate School in 2021.
